The online search is a free feature from the Polish Genealogical Society of America. The site offers records of births, cemetery burials, death indexes, and other data culled from Polish churches, Polish-language newspapers, and other sources in cities and states across America.

The PRADZIAD database (Programme for the Registration of Records from Parish and Civil Registration Offices) of the State Archives of Poland contains data on parish and civil registers preserved in state archives; Archdiocesan and Diocesan archives, and Jewish and Roman Catholic parish registers from the Civil Registration Office in Warsaw. Search for a town to learn which vital records are available and where they can be accessed. The Baza Systemu Indeksacji Archiwalnej (BASIA) or Archival Database Indexing System of the Wielkopolska Genealogical Society, makes it easier to access the digitized scans of Polish vital records online from the Polish National Archives. The website is available in English, French, German, and Polish (look for a drop-down menu near the top of the page to select your language preference).

This Polish-language site offers Evangelische Church Records from 1819 through 1835 for Nekla, Posen, and Preussen, plus births, marriages, and deaths in Nekla Evangelisch Church Records, 1818 through 1874. The Dziennik Chicagoski was a Polish-language newspaper which served Chicago's Polish community. These databases of death notices from 1890–1929 and 1930–1971 were compiled by the Polish Genealogy Society of America.
